There is a story dating from the kings of ancient times, it was on this Fort Canning Hill that their palace was built. So it was forbidden for any man to ascend the hill except at the ruler's commandor summons. For this reason it was also known as the Forbidden Hill. [Local Posting Time: 4.50pm ]
